EDEN2020 Presented at NVIDIA’s 2016 GPU Technology Conference!

EDEN2020 was present the GPU  Technology Conference, which took place from 4 to 7 April 2016 in Silicon Valley, California. Organised annually by the Nvidia Corporation, the GTC is the largest event for GPU developers. This year’s event gathered some 5,500 experts from industry and academia, in order to discuss and showcase the state-of-the-art and vital activities in today’s computing industry  – including work on artificial intelligence, deep learning and virtual reality.

Dr Fangde Liu, a Research of the Mechatronics in Medicine Laboratory –  coordinating hub for the Horizon 2020-funded EDEN2020 project – gave a poster presentation on GPU-based segmentation and path planning for intraoperative surgical navigation.
