On the 28 of October, I-HUB, Imperial’s new translation and innovation hub was launched at Imperial College’s new White City Campus. Providing more than 185,000 square feet of new laboratory, incubator, accelerator and office space, the I-HUB facility will enable the co-location of start-ups, entrepreneurs, and major corporations alongside Imperial’s academic community.
The Coordinator of EDEN2020, Imperial College’s Prof Ferdinando Rodriguez y Baena, gave a keynote in front of a varied audience composed of key stakeholders in both academia and industry, while members of the project team manned an EDEN2020 booth.
EDEN2020 is an €8.3m research and innovation project funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme. Coordinated by Imperial College London, it involves partners from the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands. It is expected to conclude mid-2020.
