The EDEN2020 Consortium is fully committed to communicating and disseminating our project in-line with our objectives and goals. As such, the project’s coordinating team at Imperial College London, have been taking part in several events across London to showcase the work of EDEN2020 to-date.
On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th April 2018, Imperial Festival took place at Imperial’s South Kensington Campus. The weekend-long event featured activities and attractions for all ages and offered Ferdinando and his team the opportunity to provide hands-on demonstrations of their robotics work. Across the two-day celebration members from across the community were given significant insight in to the scientific, medical and engineering research and outputs of Imperial College London.
In 2017 The Children’s Brain Tumour Drug Delivery Consortium (CBTDCC) was launched and on the 4th May 2018 the first workshop was held at Asia House in London.
‘The CBTDDC is committed to strengthening collaborations between an international, multi-disciplinary network of clinicians and researchers whose combined expertise will accelerate the development of drug delivery systems that target brain diseases.’
The workshop, attended by Principal Investigator Professor Ferdinando Rodriguez Y Baena and Project Manager Dr Marta Archanco, brought together clinicians, scientists and representatives from various funding bodies with the aim of advancing transitional research into drug delivery in the brain.
